Join the tiffin take away club
We hate to see unnecessary plastic packaging thrown away so, Milgi have established the eco-way to takeaway, which mirrors the tradition of the tiffin box as an environmentally friendly way to transport food around the cities of India. You buy a tiffin box, filled with food, for £20. The tiffin box is like your membership badge. Every time you order a take away you quote your club number, and we will fill up another tiffin box for you. Bring your empty tiffin box back when you come to collect your order and swap it for the newly filled one.
If you grow attached to your tiffin, you can bring it in and have it filled while you wait. You can even get it filled with cold dishes too, to heat up yourself when you get home.
If you are not a member of the club we still do takeaway ,but ask that you reuse the plastic containers in a creative way or pop them in your recycling bin.
