Northcote Street Lane Market established its reputation back in the Summer of 2007 and has been a great success ever since. After half a year of test trading, the Market has become a firm date in the monthly calender for anyone wishing to pick up vintage clothing, or crazy nick-nacks. There’s always something unique to find amongst the array of stalls.
The thing that really makes NCLM, is the sense of community and atmosphere. On any given market day you can find great music played by hung over DJs with the odd game of bingo thrown in for good measure. And the fun doesn’t stop there.
The Ledgendary SwapShop is on offer where you can pick up a serious bargain from the jumble box or Swap something you bring along. Recommended is the old school Tuck Shop with all your favourite sweets from yester year. Become a “Muther Tucker” and pick up bags of classic candy!
Other Stalls include Vintage, Costume, T-Shirts, Photographes, Vinyl, Art, Bric-a-Brac, and more crazy stalls than you can shake your money at.
“We really want to bring a sense of creative community back to Cardiff with the market. It’s been inspired by school fetes, 80s Kids breakfast TV, Blue Peter and a healthy dose of Vintage Fashion. We want to encourage people to get involved. The market is a way for people to trial their creative ideas in a postive, fun, enviroment with no risk”

In April due to showers the Market runs from 7pm-12am inside MILGI. When it gets warmer (MAY) it will be back outside.
