‘You Love Celluloid Itself’ 24th June Onwards
Found and forgotten photographs curated by Jon Pountney and Bec Kelly
Made up of found and forgotten imagery, the exhibition seeks to stimulate a discourse between personal and group memory. Found personal photos with unconscious cinematic overtones vie with pictures of subjects with universally understood values, asking the viewer to consider the difference between a photograph taken with intention, and ones exhibited with their original intentions unknown.
